A panel of the Sofia Court of Appeal confirmed the decision of the first instance court for remand measures "detention in custody" against A.I. and I.P.

and I.P.
in their capacity as officials - car inspectors in the "Traffic Control and Law Enforcement" sector, by means of extortion through abuse of their official position, demanded sums of money from various persons, which they did not owe, the court reported.
They charged those caught with bribing police officers
The criminal act was committed by them at the junction for the city of Razlog, in the area of the village of Dolno Osenovo and in the quarter "Oranovo" in the city of Simitli.
The court accepted the arguments of the prosecutor from the Appellate Prosecutor's Office - Sofia for a reasonable assumption about the crime committed, for which the two police officers are accused.
There is a danger that they will commit a crime against justice in imposing a lighter measure of remand other than "custody".
The investigation into the case continues.
