President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on Germany to hand over the Patriot air defense system to Ukraine, which would be a historic decision, as well as the recognition of the Holodomor as a genocide of Ukrainians.

The head of state said this in a video message on November 30.

Thus, he commented on the Bundestag's adoption of a resolution recognizing the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people. 

"This is a decision for justice, for the truth. And this is a very important signal to many other countries of the world that Russian revanchism will not succeed in rewriting history," Zelenskyy said.
