The search for the missing fishermen in Lake Mandre today will be centered around the spot where the fishing nets were found.

Volunteers are being called to join the search for the men.

The heavy rain and strong wind in Burgas complicated the operation in the last hours, but despite this, boats and drones are surveying the reservoir.

After finding the boat of the two fishermen, today the rescue teams are following a new trail.

Konstantin Damyanov, head of department at IARA-Burgas: "At the moment, we only have information that they found one net where they disappeared, but where the boat was found, no nets were found in that area," BNT reported.

Valentin Ivanov, diver at RDPBZN-Burgas: "Since they were not there where we found the boat, yesterday we carried out a diving inspection, now the assumptions are that it is possible that they are where the nets are".

How is the action going on for the missing fishermen after finding their boat?

Ivan Vrabchev, captain: "I also have a sonar on the boat, I launch and give from the bottom and the surface, and if there is something from the bottom to the surface, the sonar reports it.

The search operation needs volunteers on land.

Veselin Vasilev, Directorate of "Crisis Management" at the Municipality of Burgas: "Let's attach him to a search party along the shore of the lake or by car somewhere, if he has to move."

From November 1, night fishing is prohibited.
