Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin did open criminal proceedings regarding the illegal enrichment of People's Deputy from Servant of the People Iryna Allahverdiyeva.

This is reported by the Center for Combating Corruption.

According to Ukrainian legislation, only the Prosecutor General can initiate proceedings against people's deputies.

"Prosecutor General Kostin finally announced that he had opened a case against the People's Deputy from Sluga Narod Allahverdieva. This happened only after we at the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine first received a refusal to open a case, and then, after all, through VAKS, the Prosecutor General was obliged to register the proceedings. Now this the case will be investigated by NABU and SAP. Now we hope that soon Allahverdiyeva's Swiss watch worth UAH 310,000 with 11 white diamonds will be among the evidence in the case, and not on the hand of the narodepka. As well as UAH 14.4 million, which her father supposedly gave her, which officially did not receive millions of revenues in recent years," the message says.

The Center for Combating Corruption added that the case with deputy Allahverdiyeva will force deputies and officials to correctly declare their assets.

We will remind that deputy Irina Allahverdiyeva is suspected of illegal enrichment of 20 million gr.

In her declaration, she lied about gifts from her father, who has no such income.

Earlier it was reported that the court arrested the president of UAF Pavelko.

The investigation believes that when paying for the machines, UAF overpaid a million euros to the laying company from the Emirates.
