Russia will not stop or slow down its attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine, and the war will continue in the winter, but with less intensity.

John Kirby, coordinator of strategic communications at the National Security Council of the White House, said this at a briefing on November 30, Ukrinform reports.

"

The Russians are showing no signs that they are going to stop

or reduce their attacks on (Ukraine's) civilian infrastructure that they have been conducting for the past few weeks," Kirby said.

He added that the US sees signs that the Russian Federation is determined to continue these attacks.

Therefore, Washington and its allies will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine to restore critical infrastructure.

In addition, the US is focused on providing Ukraine with air defense equipment and winter equipment.

The representative of the White House also expressed an assessment that the

 intensity of hostilities will decrease

during the winter months.

"We certainly expect that during the winter, ground operations in particular, as well as air operations, will be more difficult," Kirby said, referring to winter weather that limits room for maneuver.

He noted that this does not mean a cessation of fighting.

"We absolutely believe that

military operations will continue into the winter months

," said a White House official.

It will be recalled that on November 30, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine urged during the air alert not to neglect safety rules, because a massive enemy missile attack could happen at any moment.

According to British analysts, Russia is planning several massive air attacks on Ukraine.

Thus, air activity has been recorded at the airfields of the Russian Federation in recent days.

It should be noted that earlier Kirby announced that in the coming days the USA will transfer the first batch of aid to Ukraine for the restoration and functioning of the energy infrastructure.
