Looking back on Jiang Zemin’s experience, after graduating from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1947, Jiang Zemin went to work in a factory and engaged in revolutionary propaganda work among the workers and the professional youth at the night school of the Youth Association. In 1949, he organized the workers to carry out activities to protect the factory to welcome the liberation of Shanghai.

In 1985, Jiang Zemin served as mayor of Shanghai and deputy secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee.
