On Thursday, December 1,

emergency power cuts will be applied in

Kyiv .

However, the time of outages is decreasing.

This was reported by the press service of DTEK.

"Stabilization schedules are not yet in effect. We are trying to return to scheduled outages as soon as possible, but we are acting in accordance with the situation in the power system," the company emphasized.

In turn, Yasno CEO Serhii Kovalenko noted that the time of blackouts is decreasing.

"On Monday, Kyiv residents were disconnected for an average of nine hours, and yesterday - for less than 7 hours a day. Today, the restrictions themselves were smaller - 545 MW," he said in his message.

According to him, 953 thousand customers were disconnected during the day, which is five thousand less than yesterday.

"But for now, we are still in the mode of emergency shutdowns. Stabilization schedules are not in effect, but we are focusing on them and getting closer to them," the CEO of Yasno emphasized.

We will remind you that in order to strengthen control over

the preparation and implementation of hourly power outage schedules, the

Ministry of Energy issued an order according to which the State Energy Inspectorate will carry out unscheduled inspections at energy facilities.

In addition to shutdown schedules, the technical condition of system emergency automation equipment will also be checked.
