The police in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg are looking for "Probander-style" cars with the letter Z. 

This is reported by Russian propagandists with reference to the Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Sverdlovsk region.

"Such pranks are indeed registered in Yekaterinburg. It happened recently in the territory of Chkalovsky district," said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Colonel Valery Horilykh.

According to him, police investigations are trying to establish the identities of night thieves by analyzing video from surveillance cameras, interviewing residents of the neighborhood, as well as carrying out other "operational measures that are not subject to publicity."

Journalist Oleksandr Nevzorov published a video of burning cars with the letters Z pasted on them in Yekaterinburg.

Unknown people threw "Molotov cocktails" at cars or doused them with gasoline and set them on fire.

Nevzorov noted that he does not know who is committing the arson, and the video was sent to him.

Previously, a local resident was detained in Yekaterinburg, who poured red paint on cars with the symbols Z and V. He explained his actions with pacifist views.

Three protocols on "discrediting the army" were drawn up against the detainee (20.3.3. KpAP). 

Also, at the beginning of October, an unknown person chopped a car with a Z sticker with an ax in one of the yards in the Uralmash neighborhood.

It will be recalled that in the Russian Yekaterinburg, activists of the Legion "Freedom of Russia" also set fire to railway trains with fuel, which were supposed to be delivered to the occupiers fighting in Ukraine.
