In general, December will traditionally be the warmest month this winter.

So, according to his forecasts, the entire first decade of December will be with slight frosts ranging from -2° to -14° at night and -5+2° during the day. 

"On exceptional days, light and moderate snow will come, in the south with rain, but already the second and first half of the third decade of December should be relatively very warm - almost throughout the country the temperature will range from -1° to +6° at night and until +4+8° during the day," says the forecaster.

As for precipitation,

according to Shchedrin,

there will be a lot of it in December in the form of rain and sleet

Closer to the New Year, the

temperature may drop somewhat

.

however, it is not strong - somewhere up to +2-4° at night and up to +3-3° during the day, wet snow is possible, the national forecaster added.

Forecast for January

Stanislav Shchedrin also shared an approximate forecast for January.

So, according to his data, 

the first decade of January will be like winter

snowfalls and blizzards will occur throughout Ukraine, heavy rains and sleet will occur in the southern regions.

We will remind that the head of the weather forecasting department of the "Ukrhydrometeorological Center" Vladyslav Bilyk also predicts that

December will be the warmest month of this winter

. 

Earlier, forecaster Volodymyr Derkach said that the first month of winter

will be changeable

- cooling will alternate with thawing.

Yes, it will be cold at the beginning of December, especially at night, says the national forecaster.

Then the temperature will rise slightly, and then the cold will come again, which will intensify until December 20, says Volodymyr Derkach.

After that, in less than a week, the thaw will come.

At the same time, the head of the Department of Applied Meteorology and Climatology of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute of the State Emergency Service, Vera Balabukh, generally predicts that the winter of 2022-2023 will be warm.
