The Russian occupiers launched a rocket attack on the city of Slovyansk, Donetsk region.

This was stated by the head of the Slavyansk city military-civilian administration, Vadym Lyakh.

"Unfortunately, the city was shelled again. Earlier - S-300 missiles. Two came in the "Khimik" micro-district. One - in the "Lisny" micro-district, - noted Lyakh.

According to him, fortunately, there were no victims.

The extent of the damage is currently being determined.

Note that the purpose of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems is to destroy aircraft, as well as intercept cruise and ballistic missiles.

However, the Russians insidiously strike with the S-300 at civilian ground targets close to the rear of the contact line.

It is very difficult for the Ukrainian air defense to intercept the S-300 missile, which the Russians are converting to the "surface-to-surface" class.

It was from the S-300 that the Russians fired at the maternity hospital in Vilniansk, Zaporizhzhia region.

As a result of the impact, the boy who was born only two days before died.
