"Reviving Armenia" party has stopped its activities in the Armenian parliament.


APA reports that "News.am" published information about this with reference to the party's statement.

"According to the decision of the Council of the Reviving Armenia Party dated November 28, 2022, the party ceases its activity in the country's parliament," the statement of the opposition party says.

In the statement, it was especially emphasized that three of the 4 deputies representing the party - party chairman Vahe Akopyan, vice-chairmen Ripsime Stambulyan and Yelena Kirakosyan submitted their resignations in accordance with the law.

Zemfira Mirzoyeva, one of the party members, will temporarily freeze her party membership at her own request and continue her parliamentary activities.

He represents the Assyrian community of the country in the 8th convocation in the Armenian Parliament.

According to the decision of the Party Council, when it is the party members' turn to receive the deputy mandate, they are free to accept the mandate.

Those who decide to get a mandate should leave the party membership.

It was added that the party will continue its activities in the opposition camp within the framework of its declared values ​​and policies.

Thus, in the "Hayastan" bloc, only the "Dashnaksutyun" party actually remained.
