In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, before the meeting of NATO foreign ministers, they called on their colleagues from the Alliance to provide Ukraine with tanks to fight against the Russian occupation.

This was written by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielus Landsbergis in social networks.

"My message to fellow foreign ministers at today's NATO meeting is simple: keep calm and give the tanks," the Lithuanian diplomat said in a tweet.

According to CNN, speaking before a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Bucharest, Romania, Landsbergis said that Ukraine needs air defense and anti-missile defense and called for their urgent provision.

"NATO is not running out of tanks or ammunition. Everything we have must be sent immediately," he said.

However, he does not rule out that there may be difficulties with the supply of other ammunition.

However, Landsbergis said NATO countries "basically have almost unlimited ammunition for main battle tanks."
