The results of the second selection round of the "Young Novel Competition" organized by "TEAS Press" Publishing House to support young writers have been announced.

APA was informed about this by the publishing house.

It was reported that the jury determined the "short list" of the second stage.

Those works included in the top five are (the order is conditional):

1. Abbaszadeh Afrail ("Manguberdi")

2. Ashrafov Ashraf ("The darkest moment of the night")

3. Hamzayev Seymur ("Nicolas Bonnet - the story that leads to the East")

4. Ismayilov Elay ("Collector of sin")

5. Ismayilov Parvin ( "Khanadan") At

the final stage of the competition, three winners will be selected from among the participants and they will be awarded according to the general rule.

- The winner of the 1st place will receive a cash prize of 2000 (two thousand) AZN, the work of the winning author will be published by the TEAS Press Publishing House, and the book will be presented in the "LIBRAFF" chain of bookstores.

- The winner of the second place will be awarded a prize of 1500 (one thousand five hundred) AZN.

- The winner of the third place will be awarded a cash prize of 1000 (thousand) AZN.

The results of the competition will be announced at the award ceremony to be held on December 15, 2022.

It should be noted that the main goal of the TEAS Press Publishing House in implementing this project is to support the discovery of new signatures and the introduction of young writers, as well as to convey topics promoting universal values ​​to readers through the novel genre and to contribute to the development of the literary competition environment.
