Regarding whether there have been related cases recently, the Inspection Center interviewed the Criminal Bureau and the service window of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Station of the MRT. Both parties said that there are currently no relevant report records and public feedback.

In addition, regarding the characteristics of anesthetics, the inspection center interviewed Yang Zhenchang, director of the Occupational Medicine and Clinical Toxicology Department of Taipei Veterans General Association.

Director Yang clarified that general anesthetics will only take effect after inhalation or injection absorption, and it is unlikely that anesthetics will be directly absorbed through skin or hair contact and immediately become unconscious.

Moreover, the anesthesia evaporates quickly in the air, and the rumors that random touching of hair can make people unconscious are too exaggerated and unreasonable.

Based on the above conclusions, the Inspection Center stated that the Criminal Police Department and the service window of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Taipei MRT said that they have no similar report records and have not received any reports from the public about similar situations.

The toxicologist explained that the rumors were unlikely to happen and were therefore false information.
