The employees of the warehouse of the "Ozon" online store located in the Moscow region have suffered from meningitis en masse.

APA's Russian bureau reports that more than 30 people, including citizens of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, were placed in the infectious disease departments of Krasnogorsk, Dedovsk and Istra hospitals.

According to information, 4-5 people lived in one room in the Naxabino dormitory.

A few days ago, those people had a severe headache, fever and cough.

Currently, many of them are in intensive care.

"Rospotrebnadzor" has taken the situation regarding the outbreak of meningitis in the OZON warehouse in the Moscow Region under strict control.

The workers have been quarantined and contacts of patients are being identified to prevent the spread of the virus in the city.

The agency said that they started vaccination of OZON employees and total prevention with disinfection, medical examination and laboratory tests.
