In an interview with the 

website, the performer told how her life and work had changed since the start of the full-scale war and shared details of her relationship with restaurateur Misha Katsurin. 

Change and stress during wartime

— Nadia, nine months of war have already passed.

What has changed for you during this period?

Have feelings and emotions changed since February 24?  

- You know, I am much calmer now than it was at the beginning.

Probably, we all adapted, adapted to any circumstances.

Now, for three days in a row in Kyiv, there was almost no electricity, water, heating... So what?!

We find cafes with Internet, work, meet each other, support each other.

Of course, there are days when you give up a little, but then you meet a person who gives you a boost, and you keep running full of energy!

All this gives hope.

There is hope!

— In your social networks, you talked about your experiences and severe stress against the background of news about what is happening in the country.

How do you manage to cope with negative emotions and anxiety? 

— Humor and memes, support of friends and relatives, concerts and music help me personally.

I read a lot of psychological advice that says that you need to protect your psyche: go to the shelter to be less nervous, take breaks from consuming news.

You need to protect yourself in all possible ways! 

Creative transformations

— Now your creative life is in an active phase of transformations.

What was the most difficult part for you? 

— I am not the only one experiencing the transformation now.

These changes affected every Ukrainian.

For the first month, I could not be creative at all, I did not write songs.

Yes, this transformation turned out to be extremely difficult, because it took place due to very difficult circumstances.

I think that this change and emotional depth can be heard in my songs in the album.

All my experiences and emotions during this time are all in my new music.

— You recently released a Ukrainian-language album, and before that you translated one of your hits into Ukrainian.

Do you plan to do the same with other Russian-language songs? 

— To be honest, I don't want to translate these songs.

Although I know that many were waiting for, for example, the song phenomenal.

I want to write new music, make new quality Ukrainian-language material.

I don't feel like making any frivolous songs right now.

I think you have noticed that my texts have become more deep and emotional.

And the next ones will be just like that.

Charity concerts

— Your three big charity concerts will take place very soon.

Tell us what their purpose is and what needs the earned funds will be spent on? 

— You know, performing at charity events in Ukraine and talking with other artists who gave solo concerts during the war, I felt that now it is impossible not to do such concerts!

I feel it from the feedback of the audience, from requests on social networks.

Because in the most difficult times, a person should not give up!

And she will not lower them, if she has time to rest, exhale.

For some it is a coffee break, for some it is cooking dinner or drawing a picture, and for some it is music and attending concerts.

My main task as an artist is to recharge Ukrainians, give emotions, inspiration to be strong and go further, to victory!

That is why the special guests of the Kyiv concert will not be fellow artists, but real stars - workers of the energy infrastructure, who every day restore what was destroyed by the enemy and provide us with light.

In this way, I want to thank them and give them at least an hour and a half of rest and celebration.

The main purpose of these performances is to collect funds for the reconstruction of housing for the "Dobrobat" volunteer movement.

On the eve of winter, this is extremely important for all Ukrainians who have lost their homes.

— During the concert, will fans hear your new hits or maybe covers, as was the case with the song "Spy sobe sama"? 

— At the concert, I will sing songs from the new album "Senses", which has already been loved by many and was on the first place on digital platforms.

This is a huge musical victory for me!

But there will be surprises too!

You will hear several songs that will be released very, very soon.

I will check live how they come to the audience (laughs - editor's note) I hope you like them!

Regarding covers, there is a special one in my album - "People as ships" by Kuzma, and it will also be played at concerts.

Hate because of a new relationship and a joint song with Katsurin

- You have also received a lot of hate recently because of your divorce and new romance.

When you talked about the relationship with Misha Katsurin, were you ready for it?

How do you react to criticism now?  

- I react very differently.

For example, I recently answered the comments that people write to me - it was funny.

And it happens - I see an unpleasant lie, and it hurts.

Now hate is, as it were, an inseparable part of the life not only of a successful artist, as it was a year ago, but also of every person.

Yes, my personal life shook the news space... But each of us is going through a very difficult time now and pours out our emotions in different ways.

Therefore, I try to treat it with understanding, although it is really unpleasant.

— Doesn't hate affect your relationship with Misha?

How do you support each other? 

— I have never felt such interest in my personal life.

Moreover, I would not like to feel it.

It's actually very stressful.

You just want to enjoy what you have, and that every move and every photo doesn't break your bones.

But at the same time, I understand why this happens, because our story is not simple and quite strange for general perception.

It just has to take some time for everything to settle down.

— Now you have a lot of concerts, Misha also has a lot of things to do - business, blog.

How often do you manage to spend time together?

Maybe you already have some traditions or special places for dates? 

- As soon as we have free time, we always spend it together.

We both love Kyiv and walking along Reitarska Street.

Recently, Lviv and the local "I Gallery" by Pavlo Gudimov became a special city for us.

I will spoil that here Misha filmed a part of the new edition of the "Food of Lviv" program, after which he invited me to the exhibition.

And we also liked to draw together, although neither he nor I draw.

— How do you experience everything that happens around your personal life?

— I keep all my experiences inside myself, everything is inside.

You've probably noticed that I don't comment on anything about my personal life publicly.

But I want to express myself.

Therefore, we decided to put everything we want to say into creativity.

And on December 8, you will hear everything!

And the guests of my charity concerts will be the first to hear it.
