In the Kherson region, the Russian occupiers tortured the pastor of the Ukrainian Church of Evangelical Christians and his 19-year-old son.

The Mayor of Rivne, Oleksandr Tretyak, announced this.

"Anatoly and Oleksandr Prokopchuk will be buried today. Father and son were killed and tortured in the forest near Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region. Anatoly was a deacon of the local Evangelical Christian Church. A well-known philanthropist, philanthropist, patriot, Christian, he could have done so much for our country and his family, in which he and his wife raised seven children - daughters and six sons, including one minor. But it was not destined," Tretyak wrote.

He added that Anatoly and his 19-year-old son were abducted and killed by the Russians in the forest.

Their bodies were mutilated beyond recognition.

Nevertheless, the father and son were recognized and today, November 29, they will be buried.

We will remind that in the Kharkiv region, the Russian occupiers killed the children's writer Volodymyr Vakulenko.

His body was found at the site of a mass burial and, thanks to a DNA test, his identity was established.
