Military expert Petro Chernyk assessed Russia's ability to stage a complete and long blackout in Ukraine.

On November 28, he told about this on the air of the telethon.

Yes, according to the expert, the Russian Federation still has missile potential, but they will not be able to reach the indicators they want.

They do not have the required missile potential that they had at the beginning of a full-scale offensive.

"There will be some kind of breakthrough (ed. - breakthrough of missiles and hits). But I am not a supporter of the concept that Ukraine will be completely plunged into darkness. Work is underway - Ukraine has completely closed itself into the European space. And in my opinion, such phenomena will be formed ahead of us, as energy islands. Plus, after the destruction of the oil depots at the beginning of the war, we learned to work with small convoys and autocisers. That is, in the coming weeks, critical facilities will be transferred to small energy-generating systems: diesel, gasoline and gas generators. Plus, we have nuclear power plants, through which the occupiers they are unlikely to beat," said Chernyk.

He emphasized that he does not think that Russia will succeed in plunging the whole of Ukraine into darkness.

It will be recalled that on November 23, Russia carried out the most massive missile attack on Kyiv and the region since the end of February.

After that, the capital was in a complete blackout for almost two days, there was also no water, heating and communication.

As of November 28, the situation has improved.

Water and heating have been returned to the houses of Kyiv, and electricity is also available, but there are emergency shutdowns.

In addition to Kyiv, there were attacks and hits in other regions of Ukraine, as a result of which a number of settlements were also left without electricity.

Currently, emergency and emergency blackouts are in effect in all areas.

At the same time, the authorities predict that this week the occupiers are preparing new rocket attacks, which could once again plunge the capital and almost all of Ukraine into a blackout for several days.
