This was stated by the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko in an interview with "RBK-Ukraine", commenting on the situation with "points of inviolability".

According to him, many schools and kindergartens in Kyiv have undergone thermal sanitation, are equipped with generators and are ready to work as heating points.

"We have a sufficient number of schools and kindergartens that have undergone thermosanitization, i.e. appropriate repairs regarding insulation.

They are already ready as heating points.

These institutions have large sports halls, dining halls, assembly halls.

And each of these structures can accommodate a large number of people.

They are found in almost every neighborhood of our city.

There are 500 generators to operate these points.

There will be another 12 mobile modular boiler rooms, ordered by us specifically for heating points.

But the topic is already, unfortunately, politically colored.

Despite the current situation, political battles have started around it," Vitaliy Klitschko said.

He noted that there are currently 430 such points where people can get the necessary services - heat, water, telecommunications, Internet connection, help.

And in case of an emergency, more than 100 heating points will be deployed.

And he asked the residents of Kyiv to get information in advance on the location of the nearest heating point in case of an emergency.

Such information is available on Internet resources and in Kyiv Digital.

Vitaliy Klitschko also urged not to manipulate the issue of heating points.

"I do not want, especially in the current situation, to enter into political battles.

It's ridiculous.

I have something to do.

But I've already said it and I'll say it again: I will not allow manipulation.

Because deputies from the ruling party, when I meet them during a detour and check points, they tell me to my face that everything is fine with the points, and then they make posts to copy that everything is bad.

It looks wild.

And for Kyivans.

And for foreign partners.

Ukrainians need a united team, not political push-and-pull," Klitschko emphasized.
