Two fishermen disappeared today in the "Mandra" lake in the "Bryastite" area in Burgas, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.

44-year-old Ivelin Todorov from Sredets and 47-year-old Petar Petrov from Burgas entered the lake with an inflatable fishing boat at 11:00 p.m. on November 27.

By 06.00 in the morning there was no sign of the two.

To search for them, a team of employees of the Fourth Regional Office - Burgas, the "Criminal Police" department of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the "Rescue Operational Activities" sector in "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population", as well as the IARA, was formed.

The area around Lake Mandra has been thoroughly searched, but so far no trace of the fishermen or their boat has been found.

Tomorrow, under suitable weather conditions, the search will continue with a starting time of 10:00 a.m. 

The Ministry of the Interior-Burgas calls for volunteers with boats equipped with life jackets to be included in the operational-search activities to support the formed team with manpower on the water.
