The area of ​​Lake Mandra is being surveyed with a thermodrone as part of the search operation for the two fishermen.

Earlier today, local police announced that they were looking for two men in the lake.

They entered its waters in a rubber boat last night around 11:00 p.m. 

Teams from the municipality, the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture and the police are involved in the night search.

"I hope we can help the teams of divers, police and fire safety who have been searching for the two men in the lake all day," added the mayor.

On his official Facebook page, Nikolov wrote: "I am receiving calls from fishermen who are willing to join the search operation and I thank them. We have secured an extra boat that will be used tomorrow. We will do everything in our power to help. There is always Ivelin and Peter's relatives also have hope, who, although very worried, believe in a good outcome from this critical situation! Hopefully!".

The fishermen who are wanted are 44-year-old Ivelin Todorov from Sredets and 47-year-old Petar Petrov from Burgas. 

Tomorrow, under suitable weather conditions, the search operations will continue with a starting time of 10:00 a.m. and a meeting point at the dyke for the village of Tvarditsa.

If possible, the local police call for volunteers with boats equipped with life jackets to be involved in the operational search activities to support the formed team with manpower on the water.
