Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police found a large number of anti-Ukrainian materials during security measures on the territory of the Pochaiv Theological Seminary and the Ivano-Frankivsk Diocese of the

UOC (MP)

.

This was reported by the SBU press service.

Thus, law enforcement officers discovered

literature denying the existence of the Ukrainian people, their language

, as well as Ukraine's right to statehood, and, on the contrary, it is emphasized that this is an allegedly artificially created state.

The Security Service also found brochures and books of xenophobic and hateful content with offensive fictions about other nationalities and religions.

Most of the literature is the authorship of Russian figures published by Russian printers.

"In addition, the SBU is studying the origin of the symbols of the "Great Army of Donskoy", which were discovered in one of the utility rooms of the Ivano-Frankivsk Diocese of the UOC (MP). In particular, we are talking about the chevrons of this illegal armed formation, which in 2014 helped the Russians occupy part of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblast," the report says.

It is noted that all this material evidence is the basis for the opening of two criminal proceedings under Article 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the equality of citizens depending on their racial, national, regional affiliation, religious beliefs, disability and other grounds).

Currently, all of them have been sent to relevant independent examinations.

SBU searches on the territory of the churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate

Recently, a scandal broke out in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

because of a song that glorifies Russia

, which is supposedly awakening.

The video with the song got into the Internet.

The UOC-MP initially declared that the video was a fake.

However, later the vicar of the Lavra, Metropolitan Pavlo, was forced to confirm that the video was indeed authentic.

He explained that the women sang after the service, and the priest simply did not take care.

After that, he was removed from liturgies and prayers.

Later, on November 23, during searches of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and other premises of the UOC (MP), law enforcement officers found

millions of cash, pro-Russian literature

and dubious Russian citizens.

The SBU also conducted

inspections of the UOC (MP) in Ivano-Frankivsk

and Bukovina.
