Grain from Ukraine initiative

On November 26, when Ukraine commemorates the victims of the Holodomor, Ukraine officially

announced the launch of the new humanitarian initiative Grain from Ukraine

("Grain from Ukraine"). President Volodymyr Zelenskyy then noted that Ukraine was preparing to send up to 60 ships with grain abroad. The head of state emphasized that this initiative has a greater purpose than helping those countries most affected by the food crisis.

By the way, on November 21, within the framework of the "grain" agreement, 76 vessels were waiting for permission to enter the ports of Ukraine.

Only

three ships left Ukrainian ports with more than 90,000 tons of grain and other food.
