Thousands of residents of the Russian Federation fleeing from mobilization in the USA, almost all of them end up in immigration prisons and have almost no chance of obtaining asylum.

This is reported by the

New York Times

.

The publication notes that many migrants are allowed into the country so that they can prove their desire for asylum in court.

However, with Russians, everything happens differently, almost all of them end up in migrant detention centers, due to which they have very little chance of getting asylum in the country.

The migration service does not disclose the nationality of the asylum seekers, but lawyers who work with them say that Russians are more likely than others to end up in immigration prisons, where they are offered bail of $30,000.

It should be noted that Russian men began to flee the country after the announcement of mobilization for the war against Ukraine.

Already by mid-October, more than a million people left the country, later the authorities introduced strict restrictions on leaving the country, while not declaring martial law.

It will be recalled that it was previously reported that the widow of Russian colonel Vadym Boyko from the Pacific Naval School in Vladivostok,

who was appointed to be responsible for the training of those mobilized to participate in the war against Ukraine

, wrote an open letter to the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin.

In addition, we previously informed that hundreds of thousands of mobilized Russians will not be able to change the situation at the front in favor of the Russian Federation, as they faced a

serious lack of officers and winter uniforms
