The head coach of Yanga, Nasreddine Nabi, has congratulated his players for fighting for their team to win the Premier League matches in Tanzania Mainland.

Yanga the other day emerged with a 2-0 victory against Mbeya City and continued to stay at the top of the league standings by reaching 32 points, while setting a record of playing 49 league matches without being tied.

Speaking after the game, the coach said that in addition to the difficult schedule they face, his players have shown great love for their team due to playing with dedication and striving for victory and success for Yanga.

"They are congratulating on the way they strive to win the match or not to lose the match. They did not hang their heads. They have been careful to listen to the instructions we give and when they are on the field they work on them and we get a victory. Congratulations to them," said Nabi.

The coach has explained the secret of the victory against Mbeya City is due to seeing their opponents the way they play in several matches, including against Simba and planning a special plan, which he is thankful has been successful.

He said although it was not easy but the experience with his players and following the instructions he gives them in practice have contributed to them getting that important victory.

On his part, the Assistant Coach of Mbeya City, Anthony Mwamlima has congratulated Yanga for the victory while saying that the reason for the defeat was the quality of their opponents' players.

He said their goal was to win but it failed, they accept the result and are preparing for the next matches in the league.
