Prayagraj:

The hearing was completed in the Allahabad High Court in the case related to the order to get the disputed Gyanvapi complex of Varanasi surveyed by ASI i.e. Archaeological Survey of India.

After completion of the hearing, the court reserved its judgement.

The High Court has reserved judgment on both the applications seeking stay on the order of ASI survey.

Let us tell you that the High Court has already reserved judgment on three applications related to the maintainability of the case filed in the court of Varanasi in 1991.

All five petitions have been filed by the UP Sunni Central Waqf Board and the arrangement committee of Gyanvapi Masjid.

The case was heard today in the single bench of Justice Prakash Pandey.

After hearing for about an hour, the court reserved its judgement.

The court said that the parties can file their written arguments or other documents in the court in this matter within 2 weeks.

The decision of the High Court will come only after two weeks.

The court will pronounce judgment on all the five applications together.

The ASI had said in its affidavit filed during the last hearing that if the court orders, it will survey the disputed premises and try to find out the truth.

The court was also informed by the ASI that no survey of the disputed premises of Gyanvapi has been done on its behalf before.

CS Vaidyanathan, a senior advocate of the Supreme Court, advocated on behalf of the Hindu side even today.

Vaidyanathan has won the Ayodhya dispute by presenting arguments on behalf of the Hindu side.

The Allahabad High Court extended the stay on the order of the survey given by the lower court till the verdict.
