The air defense forces can and are preparing for missile strikes by the Russians, and are calculating where and where the next batch of enemy

missiles

will fly from .

Military expert Petro Chernyk told about this on the air of the national telethon.

"An air defense system is an endless math calculation. I am 100% sure that our Forces are doing everything they can to calculate all potential missile strikes with even greater precision. I would actually put some huge pluses on our air defense system which, we can say that they literally learned to shoot down the most serious missiles, those that exist in nature. At the same time, we must remember that the enemy is also learning, the air defense system cannot 100% pick up all targets," the expert explained.

Chernyk also emphasized and explained why it is not necessary to compare the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine and the famous "Iron Dome" of Israel.

"Even the famous Israeli "Iron Domes", which have been operating since 2012, I emphasize, work against homemade projectiles with an engine. The Palestinians cannot launch anything better towards Israel, unfortunately, they still allow breakthroughs ("Iron Domes" - ed.) of our own defense. Therefore, when we hear the so-called roaring of mopeds or anti-aircraft defense, we necessarily take care of our safety," the military expert noted.

He also emphasized that the missile strikes of the Russians in no way affect the demarcation line and the logic of hostilities.

Anti-aircraft defense of Ukraine

France

recently handed over

Crotale and LRU anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine for sky defense.

In addition, the air defense of Ukraine will strengthen the American

Hawk missile system.

On Thursday, November 11, the Pentagon announced a

new package of military aid

for the Armed Forces.

It will include modern air defense systems, HIMARS missiles and shells.

The spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ignat, said that Ukraine currently

lacks ammunition for the German IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile complex

, which has proven itself well in destroying Russian missiles.

Yuriy Ignat also says that it

is impossible to predict the date of a new missile attack by the Russian army

in advance .
