Kyiv Mayor Volodymyr Klychko said that Russia's goal is to do everything possible to make this our last winter and told whether the city has a plan in case of a protracted blackout.

He reported this in an interview with "RBK-Ukraine".

Thus, according to Klitschko,

Kyiv is preparing for various scenarios

.

"Now there is a lot of speculation on the topic of how possible the option - as some call it - of evacuation. I will tell you: it would be a big mistake if we did not prepare for different scenarios. If a year ago, at this time in December, someone would have started to tell what would happen happen in the future - about killing people, about war, about rape, about genocide - he would not be called a sane person. But today, unfortunately, this is a terrible, harsh reality. We do not want to keep anyone in a warm bath, but we do not want to scare we want. We are grown-up people and we talk about the things that are possible. We are doing everything to ensure that this does not happen - a complete blackout, complete disconnection. However, we are preparing for various scenarios," said the mayor of the capital.

Klitschko also emphasized that the authorities of Kyiv are doing everything so that "every person in the city understands that we care about them and will not leave a single person in trouble."

It will be recalled that on November 23, Russia carried out the most massive missile attack on Kyiv since the end of February.

After that, the capital was in a complete blackout for almost two days, there was also no water, heating and communication.

As of November 28, the situation has improved.

Water and heating have been returned to the houses of Kyiv, and electricity is also available, but there are emergency shutdowns.

At the same time, the authorities predict that this week the occupiers are preparing new rocket attacks, which could once again plunge the capital and almost all of Ukraine into a blackout for several days.
