According to information received from official sources, life-saving medicines were found thrown in a large quantity in a well of Gulauri village under Haldharpur police station area of ​​Ratanpura block development area on Saturday.

After getting information about this matter, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the district has ordered an inquiry into it.

The owner of the well, Arunendra, told that he had reached his fields to prepare for sowing wheat, when he saw a DCM (small truck) passing by.

Arunendra expressed apprehension that only the people who came from DCM had thrown the medicines in the well.

He told that the marks of the DCM's wheels have been found inside the field, the information of which has also been given to the police.

It is being told that the period of use of most of the medicines found in the well was about to end in 2023.

As soon as the information about the matter was received, there was a crowd of villagers in the field.

Village resident Rajeev Kumar Mishra said that when we reached there after receiving information about government medicines being found in a well located in a field in our area, we found that most of the medicines thrown in the well were about to expire in 2023.

Mishra claimed that this is a case of huge administrative negligence and corruption.

Demanding an inquiry into the matter, he said that the harshest action should be taken against the person involved in it.

On the other hand, Chief Medical Officer of Mau district, Dr. Naresh Aggarwal said that after getting information about the matter, a team was formed and two officials of the Health Department were sent to the spot, but due to the depth of the well, there was a problem in extracting the medicine.

He said that on Sunday a team will reach the spot with full preparation and will take out the medicines and find out for which health center they were allotted.

Dr. Aggarwal assured that strictest action will be taken against the culprits after the investigation of the matter.

On the other hand, Deputy District Magistrate (SDM) Hemant Kumar Chaudhary said that he has not received any information about this matter yet.

He said, “I will tell after finding out about the incident.
