As a result of a large-scale 

landslide

on the Italian island of Ischia, which occurred at dawn on November 26, at least seven people died. 

This is reported by ANSA.

Rescuers have not yet released the names of the dead.

After all, the identities of some of them have not yet been established.

It is known that among the victims is a 21-day-old baby whose body was pulled out of the house with great difficulty.

A 5-6-year-old girl also died.

Currently, eight people are considered missing.

However, the rescue operation is still ongoing.

The number of displaced persons is also increasing.

As of the evening of November 28, there were already about 230 evacuees. People were accommodated in hotels or with relatives.

The rescuers said that they managed to save a family of three people.

The family was locked in their house.

Among them is a 90-year-old woman who cannot walk.
