President Ilham Aliyev signed the Law on the establishment of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN in Nairobi.

APA reports that according to the Law, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be established at the UN branch in Nairobi.

At the same time, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order "On ensuring the activities of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN branch in Nairobi".

According to the Order, the Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to resolve the material and technical supply and financing issues related to the activities of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the UN branch in Nairobi and other issues arising from this Order.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will approve the structure and staffing of the Permanent Mission.
