The enemy was driven from there to the East with battles, but it is still too early for the locals to return to Snigurivka.

In addition to the constant sounds of explosions, the land is heavily polluted with explosives and ammunition.

TSN writes about this.

Civilians are not allowed at the checkpoints in de-occupied Snigurivka.

The Russians left a lot of explosives here.

Specialists of the State Emergency Service are demining the territory.

That's how metal detectors are used to examine every meter of land.

They walk - one after the other, in their footsteps.

After the occupation, there are many fires here, and among the piles of scrap metal there are mines, ammunition remnants, and cartridges.

There may be stretch marks specially left by the enemy.

On their knees, the boys examine the local cemetery.

In the center - a tattered Ukrainian flag flies, Russian cluster munitions fell here.

There are so many Zalizachcha that 7 pyrotechnic divisions work here at the same time and every day: from Odesa, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy and Mykolaiv regions.

Also - a rapid response center.

All ammunition found during the work is transported to a safe place for further destruction.

Ammunition that cannot be transported is destroyed on site.

The work is risky and dangerous.

The State Emergency Service reports that

Svyatoslav Dodon

, a pyrotechnician from Odesa, died during demining here .

He was 32, blew himself up with a mine.

Another pyrotechnician was injured.

But even despite the loss and the incredible risk of demining the liberated territories, they do not stop: anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, cartridges, mortar and artillery shells, RPG rockets.

And also - aerial bombs.

In total, more than 1,000 dangerous objects have already been discovered here, and this is only from the 21st hectare of the area.

Despite the liberation of Snigurivka and its surroundings, locals are not yet advised to return - it is too early.

We will remind that

during the escape from Kherson, the occupiers even mined children's toys

.

In the liberated territories of the Kherson region, rescuers have already defused more than 5,000 explosive objects.
