Then the migrants were told in which direction they should go.

Belarus and the migrant crisis in the EU in 2021

In the fall of 2021, the flow of migrants who tried

to enter the EU illegally through Belarus increased sharply.

After storming the border of migrants from Belarus in October, Poland

completed a 187-kilometer wall

on the border with Belarus.

Illegals from Iraq, Syria and African countries arrived en masse in Minsk, and the border service of Belarus helped migrants get to the EU.

Allowing refugees to pass was the Lukashenko regime's response to Western sanctions for the brutal suppression of protests after the 2020 presidential election.

Lukashenko

himself blamed

Poland for the migrant crisis.

Recently, Belarus announced

the discovery of the body of a foreigner near the Polish checkpoint.

The Polish side is aware of the incident and reminds of regular provocations by the Republic of Belarus.
