[Reporter Li Rongping/Taoyuan Report] The 9-in-1 election voted today. The Democratic Party candidate for mayor of Taoyuan, Lai Xiangling, went to vote at 10:00 a.m. at Shangtian Elementary School Voting Office in Yangmei District, where her household registration is, wearing her lucky Hakka scarf. Lai Xiangling said, The scarf was a farewell gift for colleagues from the Taipei City Labor Bureau. It was worn all the way to the Legislative Yuan, and it was also used in this election.

The staff mentioned that when Lai Xiangling's motorcade was sweeping the streets this week, due to the constant shaking back and forth when standing on the publicity vehicle, she was injured in a previous car accident, which caused her to walk a little hard. However, Lai Xiangling still followed the vote with a smile on her face. The folks queuing up outside the classroom greeted her, and when the people saw her voting, they also asked for a group photo.
