, a woman hit someone else's child because she wanted to "raise" it.

The boy suffered a chest injury.

This was reported by the communication department of the Kyiv police.

At the beginning of September, the Dnipro police department received a report from a local resident that a clearly familiar woman had beaten her 9-year-old son.

The applicant told the law enforcement officers that there was a conflict on the street between her son and his peer, which the children resolved on their own.

But the second boy's grandmother caught up with her son and pushed him in the back.

As a result, the boy fell on a metal gate and hit his chest.

Law enforcement officers documented the crime and began searching for the perpetrator.

Having conducted the necessary investigative measures, employees of the juvenile prevention sector of the Dnipro police department established the identity of the violator.

She turned out to be a native of the Kyiv region, born in 1964, who had never been criminally charged before.

The investigation sector of the police department No. 1 of the Dnipro police department has initiated criminal proceedings for the intentional purpose of hitting, beating or committing other violent acts that caused physical pain and did not cause bodily harm.

So far, investigators under the procedural guidance of the Dnipro District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv have informed the violator of the suspicion of committing a crime.

The court will choose the punishment for the woman.

The native of Kyiv region faces up to one year of correctional labor for the crime.
