The man had fled from Australia after killing the woman.

New Delhi:

Delhi Police on Friday arrested an Indian wanted for murder in Australia.

Rajwinder Singh, 38, accused in the 2018 Australia Beach Murder case, has now been arrested.

Rajwinder had fled to India only two days after the murder.

The Australian Police had announced a reward of $ 1 million for his information.

On 21 October 2018, the body of 24-year-old pharmacy worker Toyah Cordingley was found on a Queensland beach in Australia.

According to the police, Rajwinder had a fight with his wife.

After this, he went to the beach with fruits and was cutting the fruits there with a knife.

At that time, Toyah Cordingley was walking on the beach with her dog.

Seeing Rajwinder, the dog started barking.

Rajwinder had a fight with Toyah Cordingley on this.

The quarrel had escalated so much that Rajwinder attacked him with a fruit-cutting knife and killed him.

After this he buried half of her dead body in the sand.

The accused worked as a nursing assistant in a hospital in Australia.

After 2 days of the incident, he left his 3 children and wife and fled to India.

In March 2021, the Australian government appealed to India for Rajwinder's extradition, which was accepted by the Indian government only last month.

Accused Rajwinder is a resident of Amritsar in Punjab.
