[Reporter Chen Yun/Taipei Report] The nine-in-one local elections have come to an end. Although the 18-year-old citizen voted in favor of the constitutional revision resolution more than the dissenting votes, it still has not crossed the threshold of 9,619,697 votes for constitutional revision.

The Democratic Progressive Party regrets this.

DPP spokeswoman Huang Cailing said that as DPP Chairman Tsai Ing-wen said in response to the media today, all DPP candidates and comrades in politics have seized every opportunity to speak to support 18-year-old citizenship, and the DPP’s Supporters also gave their all to support the candidate we nominated and supported "18-year-old citizenship".

The Democratic Progressive Party expressed regret that it was not passed.
