The Volyn region is still waiting to be connected to the unified power grid of Ukraine.

This was announced by the head of the Volyn Regional Administrative Office, Yuriy Pogulyajko, in a message on the Telegram channel.

Currently, there is not enough capacity to provide light to the population, so electricity is supplied to critical infrastructure facilities and some consumers nearby.

However, power engineers are trying to turn on electricity for the population wherever possible.

Points of Invincibility continue to be deployed in the region.

The number of such points will increase every day.

Residents of Volyn can use the services of mobile stations of the State Emergency Service in the cities.

In addition, government units "101" also work as Points of Invincibility.

Anyone can come to the nearest police station.

Here at any time you can warm up, recharge your gadgets, and get in touch.

Due to the lack of electricity, the educational process took place in schools in a mixed format.

The teaching staff was in educational institutions, ensuring the reception of children who came to schools.

Pupils who stayed at home received an independent task.

On November 25, all general education institutions of the Volyn region were recommended to independently determine their work format.

Volhynians can find out about the decision on the format of education at their educational institution from their class teachers.

All hospitals are working as usual, their work during the day was ensured by alternative means of power supply.

The regional clinical hospital managed to recover from the network only in the evening.

Restoration of power supply to all important critical infrastructure facilities is underway.

In particular, to provide Volyn residents with heat and water.

The majority of consumers in the Volyn region have been without electricity for more than a day.

"I understand that it is difficult. But it is difficult for everyone - both those who are waiting for electricity, and those who restore its supply, and those who work in such conditions despite everything," the message says.
