We are the co-sponsors of the "Anti-Chinese Investment in Taiwan IC Design" campaign at the end of 2015. In response to the recent series of information warfare attacks launched by many media and network communities and pro-China political parties and politicians on Taiwan Semiconductor, the statement is as follows :

1. The United States launched a comprehensive semiconductor blockade against China, triggering the "de-sinification" of the world's industrial chain; in order to divert the focus of "de-sinification", pro-China people launched squid tactics, driving a wave of "de-sinification" of the international semiconductor industry chain in Taiwan Transformation" sound.

4. At the end of 2015, we initiated the protest against Chinese investment in IC design in Taiwan. We thank many friends in the industry and academia for their support.

How lucky we were to block the invasion of Chinese capital together in the end. Taiwan Semiconductor was not forced to join the Chinese team. Therefore, Taiwan’s IC design escaped the fate of being sanctioned by the United States today, and Taiwan’s semiconductor industry chain has retained its pivotal position in the world today.

5. The recent information war against Taiwan's semiconductors has once again brought back our frightened memories of Chinese invasion of IC design, as well as our sense of resistance to Chinese invasion.

Here, we sincerely appeal to all Taiwanese to cast their votes on tomorrow’s polling day, not to vote for candidates from pro-China political parties, to use their votes to declare war against information attacks, and to show the world our commitment to defend Taiwan’s silicon shield determination.
