The president of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation,

Vladimir Putin

, said that Russia is not at war with Ukrainians, but with those who use them as cannon fodder.

Putin's words were quoted by the Russian propaganda agency TASS on November 25.

"Ukrainian soldiers are shot in front of the formation if they leave their positions," said the Russian dictator.

Putin pointed to the alleged bad morale and shootings in Ukrainian troops, which "confirms that we are dealing with a neo-Nazi regime."

Putin added that "Russia feels that it is doing a good deed by protecting Donbas."

It will be recalled that the Russian journalist and analyst Oleksiy Tikhonov said that

Putin realized that he could no longer capture all of Ukraine

, so a decision was made to leave the right bank, which was needed only as a bridgehead for further advancement to the south-west of Ukraine.
