German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Russia's bomb terror against the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine must stop and Moscow must end the war.

Scholz said this at a joint press conference with his French colleague Elizabeth Born in Berlin on November 25, Ukrinform reports.

"In view of the Russian war of aggression, our common message is: Russia's bomb terror against the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine must stop.

Russia must end the war and withdraw its troops. Immediately

," the German chancellor said.

He added that Germany and France stand in solidarity with Ukraine and work tirelessly to further support it.

Currently, with an emphasis on the

restoration of the energy infrastructure.

Berlin and Paris also agreed on joint steps in the field of energy, because the Russian war poses great challenges to both states this winter, especially due to high prices for energy and basic necessities.

It will be recalled that a few days earlier, former Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson spoke about Germany's reaction to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

According to him, there considered the war a catastrophe, but they wanted everything to end quickly - Ukraine capitulated and it was possible to continue cooperation with the Russian Federation.

A representative of the German government called Johnson's words "complete nonsense."
