The SBU detained a supporter of "Russian peace" in Kherson who helped the FSB escape on boats to the left bank of the Dnieper during the retreat.

This was reported by the SBU press service.

According to the information of the Security Service, the traitor turned out to be the owner of the local pleasure boat station.

Before the large-scale invasion, the man organized sea excursions in the Iron Port area, and after the temporary occupation of the region, he "re-registered" his own business in favor of Russia and concluded a corresponding "contract" with the occupation administration.

After the start of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces in the south, the traitor agreed to cooperate with the enemy and helped the invaders escape from the Ukrainian defenders in the southern direction.

For this purpose, he handed over to the enemy 6 watercraft, each of which is designed for 30 passenger seats.

It was on these boats that personnel of the Russian FSB and several units of the occupation groups of the Russian Federation fled to the left bank of the Dnieper.

With the same boats, the occupiers forcibly transported local residents to the temporarily captured areas of the Kherson region.

After the liberation of Kherson, the attacker tried to hide in the city.

However, SBU officers located him and detained him.

So far, the investigators of the Security Service have informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 1 of Art.

111-2 (assistance to the aggressor state) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Now a man can spend up to 12 years behind bars.

It will be recalled that earlier in Kherson the SBU detained a representative of the so-called "election commission", which the invaders created during the capture of the regional center and the holding of pseudo-referendums there.

The collaborator knocked out "votes" for fake voting.

To do this, he went around high-rise apartments in one of the city's neighborhoods and called on people to "vote" for the Kremlin project.
