"Russian citizen Konstantin Kiselyov, murderer of two women, was awarded the Order of Courage," reported the Kremlin opposition site "Vazhne Istori".

"Kiselov was serving a sentence of nine and a half years until he joined the private military company Wagner this October.

In 2017, he was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter of two or more persons," the site also said.

"Actually, Kiselyov is the only survivor of an operation by the Ukrainian army.

In addition to the order, the double murderer also received a promotion," the site added.

"A year before he received his sentence, the man went to visit a friend.

While two were drinking alcohol, a scandal broke out between them.

Kiselov took a heavy metal object and hit his wife 28 times.

The man then strangled the second woman.

She heard screams from the apartment next door and wanted to see what was going on with her neighbor," added "Important Stories".
