[Reporter Tu Jumin/Taipei Report] The Naval Fleet Command announced this evening (24th) that the No. 151 Fleet Landing Craft Brigade of the Fleet Command Division "2239" and "1326" carried out the replenishment mission of Kinmen outlying islands today and completed the mission. During the unloading and returning, the "1326" boat was suspected to be in poor walrus condition and the swell was too large, causing water to enter the cabin; after being discovered by the officers and soldiers on board, emergency drainage measures were implemented, but due to the excessive water inflow, at 5:18 in the evening It is expected that Luowan sank at 8 miles, and all 5 officers and soldiers on board were safe.

The Naval Fleet Command further stated that the "1326" boat was properly handled by the officers and soldiers in an emergency situation, and no one was injured. It also completed the transfer of 11 officers and soldiers from the two boats and returned to Hong Kong safely. The relevant cause is currently being investigated by the Navy task force. .
