It was noted that in a special meeting held during the 9th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in Fes, Morocco, in partnership with the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, along with the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and the Co-Chair of the Center Mrs. Vaira Vike-Freyberga, the UN Presidents of the 73rd and 75th General Assemblies Mrs. Maria Fernanda Espinosa and Volkan Bozkir, former President of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanic, former President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili, former President of Bulgaria Petar Stoyanov, former President of Latvia Valdis Zatlers, former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Jan Fischer, Arab Former Secretary General of the League Amre Musa, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Tzipi Livni, former Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia Eka Tkeshelashvili, former Director General of ISESCO Abdulaziz Altvaijri,including the High Representative of the UN Alliance of Civilizations Miquel Ángel Moratinos and the Secretary General of the NGBM.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on recent events and international challenges facing the world, and it was agreed to hold this meeting regularly.

In particular, the Secretary General was informed about the Global Baku Forum, cooperation with the UN Alliance of Civilizations and the initiatives carried out by the center.

As part of the Center's "Year of Nizami" announced by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "The Magic of the Pen" specially published by the Center - a book of manuscripts selected from Nizami Ganjavi's "Khamsa" and a commemorative gift dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Center were presented to the Secretary General.
