In January next year, Hungary will approve Sweden and Finland's NATO membership application.

APA reports with reference to "Bloomerg" that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said this at a press briefing in Slovakia.

According to him, the Hungarian parliament will ratify the protocols on the NATO membership of Sweden and Finland in its first session to be held in January next year.

"Hungary supports the membership of the Scandinavian countries," Prime Minister Orban said.

It should be noted that Turkey and Hungary are the last NATO countries that have not completed the ratification process.
