The actions of Russia, which wants to destroy Ukraine at any cost, cannot go unpunished.
This was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron and Dutch Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra.
The French president
said
that attacks on critical infrastructure are a war crime.
"Today, Ukraine suffered massive bombings, as a result of which a large part of the country was left without water and electricity. Any attack on civilian infrastructure is a war crime and cannot go unpunished," Macron wrote on Twitter.
In turn, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands
noted
that Russian attempts to leave Ukrainians without electricity cause disgust and are also a violation of international law.
"New Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. Deliberately depriving civilians of heat is disgusting, it is a violation of international humanitarian law. The Netherlands will continue to make efforts to bring Russia to justice. Impunity is not an option," Hoekstra wrote on Twitter.

Russia is going to escalate the conflict due to defeats on the battlefield
.
