Moldova lost power after a massive Russian missile attack on energy facilities in Ukraine.

Because of this, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the ambassador of the Russian Federation.

This is reported by the BBC.

Almost 90% of Moldova was left without electricity due to Russian missile strikes on Ukraine's energy sector.

Due to massive power outages, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova summoned the Russian ambassador Oleg Vasnetsov.

"90% of the country is without electricity. Traditionally, we import electricity from Ukraine and Romania. In the last month and a half there have been blackouts, but the blackout is much worse," Moldovan Foreign Minister Nika Popescu told BBC Newshour.

According to him, electric transport stopped yesterday in Moldova, water supply disappeared.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova believes that the Russian Federation deliberately attacked Ukraine in order to harm Moldova as well.

Due to the lack of electricity, the head of the Moldovan Foreign Ministry believes that there may be a humanitarian crisis in the country, because citizens will start going abroad, in particular to the EU.

We will remind, due to yesterday's missile strikes by the Russian Federation on Ukraine, problems with electricity supply were observed in Modov.

The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, said that the Russian Federation is trying to keep her country in the dark.
