People's Artist of Ukraine

Ada Rogovtseva

together with her daughter, Kateryna Stepankova, showed how they spent their time when the lights were turned off due to shelling by the Russian occupiers.

On her Instagram page, Ada Mykolaivna shared a video of herself with her daughter in the dark.

Only the candles on the table provide light.

The artists read the poems of the poetess Lesya Ukrainka "As a child, it used to be...".

And they did it quite emotionally:

"It's dark in Kyiv. Lesyna slovo is on fire," Ada Mykolaivna captioned the video.

In dark times, bright people are better seen! Let's hold on! Everything will be Ukraine!".
