City council candidate Tang Yongyu's strongest supporter spoke. His father, Tang Jinquan, once defended the victims of Formosa Island, and made a special video for his father to cheer up his daughter. He also had more expectations for his daughter.

[Reporter Huang Liangjie/Kaohsiung Report] Tang Jinquan, who resigned as a judicial officer due to the Formosa Formosa incident and turned to a lawyer to defend political victims, specially recorded a video to encourage his daughter Tang Yongyu, who also loves democracy and the rule of law, and is currently struggling. Standing for the election of Gaoshi 8th Constituent District Councilor, he expects his daughter to use her legal profession to defend Taiwan's democracy and protect the rights and interests of grassroots workers.

Tang Jinquan used to be a councilor, legislator, and deputy mayor of Kaohsiung. He followed him to fight against the big whales since he was a child. Tang Yongyu was also influenced by him when he was elected as a city councilor, because she knew that Taiwan's freedom and democracy did not fall from the sky. Yes, my daughter has become a mother now, and she is willing to serve the local area with a mother's mentality, take care of us in Kaohsiung, and be gratified and supported by her father.

He remembered that when his daughter came back to serve in Kaohsiung, he once told her that lawyers in Taipei are different from lawyers in Kaohsiung. Lawyers in Taipei wear leather shoes, but they come here (Kaohsiung) with bare feet. It is very meaningful to make too much money and do something for the society.

Tang Jinquan said that his daughter Tang Yongyu wanted to follow his father's path. He was really reluctant, but Yongyu was willing to realize her generation's ideals in this way. I am also very happy for her, but she should always remember to protect human rights and realize socialism. Justice, and more importantly, corruption is not allowed. You must never say that you want to make money. You must go all out to serve the poor and keep your promises to voters. This is what he expects from his daughter.
